Location: In the traditional settlement of Kaminia on the island of Hydra. From the port you can reach Kaminia by following the beach front road. This area is basically a small natural port where local fishermen place their boats. Just beside it Mikro Kamini is found, a wonderful stone beach ideal for young children and sea sports. The specific property is just 5 minutes walk from this beach, next to a mini market and near to a number of tavernas restaurants. You can reach Hydra by boat from Pireas (next to Athens) in approximately 3 hours or by Flying Dolphin in 1,5 hour. One can also drive 180 km from Athens, which takes a bit more than 2 hours down to Metohi and then call for a sea taxi which will take him to Hydra. On Hydra there are no cars, only sea taxis.

Views:  Basically this house is found on a pedestrian road which, just like the rest of the island, transports you to a different, more relaxed world, part of what Hydra is all about. The views are basically of the traditional settlement and of the mountain. There is access to the roof from where an even better view is enjoyed. 

Size:  It is a stone property of 70 m2 externally, on a plot of approximately 90 m2.     

Architecture: It is constructed from stone as a single storey house and slightly elevated in comparison with the pedestrian road level. There is a partly tiled roof and is definitely a characteristic example of the traditional architecture found in Hydra.    

Internal layout:  The main entrance leads to the open plan kitchen and dining / living room area. There is 1 bathroom with a shower and 1 spacious bedroom.    

Features:  3 Panasonic air condition units have been installed providing cool and warm air. Kitchen cup boards are also installed with Bosch electrical appliances and more specifically: a cooker, a fridge with a refrigerator and a washing machine. The internal doors and the roof throughout the house are made with solid wood. All interior floor and wall tiles are 1st quality ceramic. T.V. and telephone plugs are found in each room. All existing furniture is included. There is a built in wardrobe in the bedroom. 

Landscaping: Full landscaping is offered. At the front of the property there is a stone boundary wall with a wooden fence and a private gate along with a small stone paved yard. 1 fully grown lemon tree and 1 fully grown orange tree complete this pleasant space, not only with their appearance, but also with the aroma of its fruits.
