Location: Only a short walking distance to the village of Kournas with its local taverns and kaffenions, and approx. 8km from the coast village of Georgioupolis with its famous golden sandy beaches. The main highway is only 2.5km away and the ancient town of Rethymno with its Venetian harbour only a 20 minutes drive. Chania city is 40km away. The house stands about 600 meters before the entrance of the village.

Internal layout for first floor apartment: The main entrance brings you to the spacious open plan lounge with fireplace and a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Access to a sun terrace with views across the garden towards the sea and mountains. Access to the gardens behind the house through the kitchen balcony door. It is completely furnished and all bedrooms are double sized offering individual access to sun terraces or balconies. The main bedroom has en- suite bathroom facilities (bathtub) and air-condition.
